My laptop is HP, a 64 bit system running windows 8 I cannot install MATALB software to my laptop. I tried several versions of MATLAB, including 64 bit versions of R2009 and R2010. Even 32 bit versions on WINDOW 7 &8 both. After running the setup file it extracts some files to Temp folder and then displays the MATLAB opening window. But after that the setup is closed, and nothing happens. But in the task manager the setup process is still running.
